How many births: 6: 7 (ugh)----------------Well, my name is April Vivian Quirk and in my younger days I did some modeling work. My husband Dwight is a photographer (this is how we met) and extensive photojournalist. I'm originally from England and he's American-born, but after our careers simmered down we lived in various European countries before settling in Germany.DS1 (17) : Our first son, Leon Oscar, was born while Dwight and I were still living in London. Though he's gone a little wild, he's not totally out of control. Even though he's big on roughing around and playing football (soccer, lol) with some chums, he's actually turning into quite the military history buff. His dirty blond hair has gotten in the way of his light brown eyes as of late, and I always tell him to cut his hair or I'll buzz it all off myself.
(dirty blond, light brown, history, sports, wild, firefighter) DS2 (16) : Our second son, Edward Gregory, isn't so wild. I'd say he's a dreamer of sorts. He's taken to dying his hair black lately (from his father's brown), which brings out the seperate colors of his eyes - green and hazel - nicely. He sure likes to chase his dreams (which change every other week, of course) but I really think he has a knack for foreign languages. He was born in London but at the age of three moved to Paris, and other than English, French and German he's become decent in Italian and Danish, so he's definitely got something floating up there. Edward is really close to animals and likes being outdoors observing them, though, and is thinking about being a veterinarian some day.
(black, irregular [heterochromia], foreign languages, hiking, emotional, vet) DD1 (13) : Cecilia Lillian was born in France, but not too long after her birth Dwight and I moved to Germany. At a very young age Cecilia was very much into singing, though it wasn't until later that she found the courage to sing in front of others, much less a crowd. What she's always liked was learning about history and recently volunteered to tutor some younger students after school on the subject (a sort of 'breaking out her shell' thing). I think she's really good at it too - I've learned a couple of odd historical facts from her. Cecilia, however, is looking into singing in her future and I think, with her light blonde locks and charming hazel eyes, she could really be something.
(golden blonde, hazel, history, tutoring, shy/introverted, singer)DS3 (11) : Arthur David is our third son and fourth child, the first born in Germany. Like Edward he's very outdoorsy. When he was younger he was quite the explorer, always getting dirt in his light brown hair. He was always the one getting lost in supermarkets or staying out too late. Arthur's really hyper and can't seem to stand still for once, but he really listens and cares when it's needed. He's gearing up to be a doctor some day, and I could see him losing patients' charts and getting everything just mixed up at the hospital, but I think any patient will really appreciate his calming blue eyes.
(light brown, blue, gym, hiking, caring, doctor)DS4 (9) : Alexander Sebastian is kind of a mix. He loves reading (he's even tried to read Cecilia's heavy text books), then he'll leave a book open to watch the next football game or whatever flashy show is on. Sometimes he might chase butterflies and burn ants outside and track mud in the house, yet he wants to be a lawyer because "it sounds cool." Alexander thinks being a lawyer is more like detective work and yelling objection! as loud as he can. Then again, he's only eight.
(golden blonde, light brown, reading, watching TV, adventureous, lawyer)DS5 (7) : Next came another son, Frederick Trenton "Freddie", the loudest child ever born to parents. Freddie was a loud baby, he's a loud child, and he'll probably be deafening when he grows up. I think he's just naturally loud and has no idea how loud his voice can be. So far, life has set him up to be the 'class clown' and I think he'll do great in that position. He's really good at maths and can grasp most of the concepts 8 year old Alexander can't seem to master. Freddie loves attention and putting on a good show for his friends and us, so I'm feeling actor or commedian of sorts.
(dark brown, grey, math, tutoring, loud, actor) DS6 (5) : Henry Sullivan is our last boy (Cecilia really wanted a sister, but...) and our most creative. Henry was always painting on our walls but now that I introduced him to paper, he's practically killing trees. Despite his obvious artsy side, he's taken to sports when he's not doodling. Henry tells us he's going to be a mailman when he grows up.
