I love that Eben fits into modern times and older times both completely comfortably.
I like the vibe that it gives off. It could suit someone serious or playful with many different ambitions.

However, Abian is still a nice name. It just reminds me of "avian" too much to use it.

I prefer Eben. I've liked it for a while. Abian reminds me of the word "avian", which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it might remind people of the avian flu, and, therefore, be easy to tease. I dislike Abe, which someone named Abian might possibly be called.

Eben: It is handsome and simple, and more visually pleasing. Also, I actually like the fact that it derives from Ebeneezer, as the name is a little more unusual.

I like both, but I think I prefer Abian. It looks better IMO and it doesn't remind me of Ebeneezer Scrooge...
