[Opinions] Opinions on Susanna?
It's been on my mind a lot lately. I love it's meaning. Thanks. :)

With this spelling, I see (and hear!) The Marriage of Figaro, which is a very good thing; however I prefer Susannah with an H and would have used it as a mn, given enough daughters. It's a family name on my DH's side, and better than most of the others.

It's my sister's name and I've always quite liked it. She's usually called Suki.

It's pretty, but I really dislike Susie. Zannie, Zanna, and Annie are cute nicknames for it though, and I believe it's possible to not use a nickname too. I went to school with a Susana, and I don't recall her being called anything but Susana.

I prefer Susannah, but it's lovely. I picture a farmer's wife in the old west, working alongside the men and getting sunburned.

It's pretty and not overdone... and I like it WAY better than Susan.

Susanna is one of my current faves. It's classic yet I've never known a single one. Susans, yes, Suzannes, yes, but no Susannas.

I love Susanna! Not sure which spelling I prefer, though... Susanna feels lighter, but H in Susannah makes it complete. The meaning is lovely. :)

I love it, but prefer the spelling Susannah. No big whoop, though.Funny, I don't like Suzanne or Susan.

DittoIndeed. Despite the fact my mother is a Suzanne and my mother-in-law Susan, and a good friend is a Susan, I much prefer Susanna! I don't understand why this name is not in the top 1000.
