Both twins thoroughly enjoyed their honeymoons but missed each other terribly. When it came time to return home, they rushed to meet back at the seaside castle in Qelan and arrived within days of each other. After nearly a full year apart, they spent weeks being inseparable again, and Magda and Noam delighted in showing Lucian all they'd learned from the fighting monks at the legendary hidden monastery.
Saveria soon confided to Magda that she thought she might be pregnant. They had no way to confirm or deny the diagnosis so early, but Magda made sure to keep a very close eye on her sister-in-law in the coming weeks. The two women spent a lot of time together and became rather good friends. Soon enough, the pregnancy became obvious, and Saveria told Lucian, who was absolutely thrilled to be a father.
Ariadne Aida Serafina Octavia Maguerite was born in castle Carimonde and already possessed her mother's dark coloring and exotic hazel eyes, her father's messy curls and slightly hyperactive personality. As the first grandchild, her birth is celebrated with all throughout the land.
Also celebrated is the announcement that Cornelius will be the next king. Magda and Lucian are possibly the happiest for him (despite being passed over); neither ever had much interest in taking over the throne, and Lucian especially is relieved. He just wants to have a huge family, live peacefully in the countryside, possibly travel the world if Saveria will allow herself and Ariadne and any future offspring to be dragged along.
