Carissa and I talked it over and we decided that we wanted a child of our own and since she was still in school it would make more sense for me to have it. Approximately nine months after visiting a clinic we welcolmed Evan into the world.
Year Two
Carissa, Evan and I went down to New York for a week, she wanted to go check out the stores and, well, I’d always wanted to go there. It was kind of fun, although I wish we could have gone in Winter because apparently they set up a huge outdoor ice rink.
Year Three
Evan broke his arm at a friend’s birthday party and had to be taken to the hospital. He’s fine, thank God, and he was such a trooper but Carissa and I were freaking out. Okay, I’ll admit it, me more than her but she started grilling the parents and it made me laugh to see her like that.
Year Four
I won a vacation for two to Hawaii. So Carissa and I agreed to give Evan to my sister for two weeks so we could enjoy ourselves on the beach. It was a very relaxing time and we returned feeling much better than before.
Year Five
Evan has been begging us for a pet for the last year and a half so Carissa and I finally relented. He named the calico cat we got him ‘Megatron’ with ‘Sybok’ for his middle name; I literally gushed at the love of sci-fi I imprinted on him while Carissa rolled her eyes at the ‘nerds’.
Year Six
Some idiot blind-sided me while I was driving through an intersection and my car was totaled as a result. I’m fine, sprained wrists, broken leg and whiplash aside and we got a Dodge Charger that runs well.
Year Seven
I finally did it! One of my books cracked the top ten on the ‘New York Times Bestseller’ list! Woohoo! Carissa and Evan took me out to celebrate and Carissa got a little drunk which turned into loads of fun later on.
Year Eight
We decided to move from our lovely home to a Victorian-ish house. It’s beautiful although Evan seems a little disappointed that we’re leaving the only home he’s ever known.
Year Nine
Name – Miriam Alcippe Elisabeth Sturm 'Miri'

Carissa and I decided that since Evan was growing up we wanted more children! I offered to give birth again and we got twin girls this time, Miri and Cynthia. Evan said that he wanted a little brother but they are 'cute, though really loud'.
Year Ten
I crashed the car again. Of course, this time it was entirely my fault. I turned right but it completely slipped my mind to look first and well, I hit another car. We got a new Charger again, this one in black.
Year Eleven
The girls have been begging for something they can pet, since the cat does not like being poked and prodded with sticky Popsicle fingers. So Carissa and I got them a Chinchilla who they promptly dubbed Queen Rosita.
Year Twelve
Our house flooded! Most of our main level furniture was ruined and needed replacing which we paid for as well as the floors and in the end we sold the house and moved back into our first one. It never would have flooded, higher ground and all that, and Evan has been missing it.
Year Thirteen
Carissa and I planned a trip to Venice; we took our children with us of course. Evan seemed to have more fun than either of the girls, mainly because they just wanted to swim in the water but everyone had a bit of fun.
Year Fourteen
Name – Amanda Megan Wendy Sturm

Birth date – December 2nd, 2028 (1)
Evan was rather unhappy when he found out that I was expecting again and even more so when he found out that he would have another little sister. He does love his sisters, he just isn’t too impressed with the conception process that I have to go through, thinks it’s gross.

Carissa decided to try her hand at birthing this time around and we were completely blown away when we found out we were having quadruplets! Evan’s still a little weirded out; he’s entering High School now and is at that age, but is rather happy to be finally getting not one but two brothers!
