[Games] Another Continue the Story Congrats SIGN UP
Hey everyone! I had so much fun with my fist CTS Congrats, I wanted to do another one! This one will be based on books. If you weren't part of the last game, this is how it's going to work. Choose a novel, any you like from classics to the latest bestseller. As long as it has a couple who ends up together and they have NO MORE than one child before the story ends (end of the book, or end of the final book if it's a series). If there are multiple couples, you may go with a secondary couple instead of the main characters. All names for children must fit the setting of the book. So, without further ado...1. If you miss more than three rounds without notice you will be dropped. You do not have to make up missed rounds, but you do not get the children for the missed round.
2. Make sure you keep your book listed before your family so I can keep up with who is doing what story.
3. Please bold new additions. This can be done by using < b > name here < /b > without the spaces.
4. Ages are required. Assume all events take place a year after the end of the story, unless the characters are teenagers, then fast forward their ages to their early-to-mid twenties.
5. IMPORTANT to note that the point of this congrats is to continue the story, and you are required to write at least a short paragraph about your family each round. If you don't like writing the blurbs, then this may not be the game for you.

Question...I really want to do this game, but I will be gone from the night of the 23rd until June 4th. I know you said that if a round is missed, you just won't get children for the round, but I'm afraid that this trip will cause me to miss too many of the rounds. Any idea how often you'll be posting?
vote up1
AnswerI usually try to post every two or three days. If you want, since you told me before, I'll let you make up the rounds you miss.

Definitely! (+ my family)Thanks. I haven't done a Congrats in a long time, and I thought this looked cool. Especially because I tend to make up future families for book characters anyway, haha.UN: Cassandra Grace Logan

DW: Katarina [Bishop] Hale "Kat" (22)After the big job, Kat decided not to go back to school. After all, could she really get back into the innocent life? She could not bear to go back to the place where everybody was sure that she had played that prank, so instead, she decided to con her way into a day school. A Jewish day school. Why? Because Hale had offered her his mother's room and that was the school he was currently going to. Kat wasn't sure if he was Jewish, or even if she was Jewish, but at the Jewish day school, they learned alot. As time progressed the two teens slowly fell in love and by the time they were 18, they decided to tie the knot with the greatest heist of all time.

As far as I know none of the character have middle names, or if they do I don't remember them. Also, Aly's pregnant in the end of this book but it doesn't tell us the gender or whatnot so...yeah.

OTIf you read up on Tamora Pierce, she has said that Aly actually has triplets named Ochobai, Junim, and Ulasu. (Switching the last syllables of three characters from the TQ book. Original name scheme, huh? haha)Then again, it's only info available if you have really followed up post-book.

Ugh, I'm going to ignore that for simplicity's sake. lol I generally just read the books and am good with that, if it mentions it in a later book I'll take it as canon but I'm too lazy to go look it up, you know?
vote up1
Haha, I think it's legitimately ignorable. If you dig through Tamora Pierce website, apparently she's given names and spouses to a lot of characters/kids, like Wyldon's daughters. And Kalasin and Kaddar's son. And endless minor characters who were never more than mentioned, like Neal's little sister. It's like the big interview thing JK Rowling did after the Harry Potter books where she talked about who married who and had kids with who, and what their careers were like, etc. Frustrating sometimes because as much as you want to know these things, it rarely aligns with your own imagining of these futures.

Neal has a sister? I completely forgot. lolBut yeah, I know what you mean. Sometimes I like to think JKR just did it to show the fanfiction writers who's boss, which makes sense but sometimes you should let fans think whatever they want. As long as it won't permanently damage the original work or whatever because the truth of it is most people are going to ship the couple's they want.
Ugh, and the names Hermione & Ron gave their kids make me shudder every single time. I just...Hugo! What? I mean, at least Albus Severus can go by a nickname what's Hugo supposed to go by?

I actually (kind of) like Hugo. And by that, I mean like in the sense that it's what I named the elaborate balloon giraffe that I got at my college one day last year, lol.

NoteYou should include their daughter from the last book. We'll just assume they found a way for vampires to reproduce :P (you should include that in your blurbs).
