Year 1. Jonah had to take a business trip so we spent 5 days in Japan. It was so much fun.
Year 2. This was an exciting year as we had our first child. A boy. He has curly brown hair and blue eyes. This was more eventful than a normal delivery as it was in my grandmother’s basement. We were snowed in. Luckily everything turned out okay and EMERSON RIVER was born on December 28th. (son of Emery - black substance, surname, or power. flowing body of water.)
Year 3. This year we took a vacation to Melbourne to see the historical sites.
Year 4. We had our first daughter this year. She has curly black hair and blue eyes. The weirdest thing happened. Emery told me that I was going to have a sister for him. I thought he was crazy but it kept nagging at my mind and I took a test and was shocked. Emery was right. Abigail Rose was born on September 8th. We also bought a bigger home. (my father is joy. fame, kind, flower.)
Year 5. This year we decided to adopt from Africa. We adopted a sweet little boy. JELANI AYO goes by Lane. He is 5 years old. Emery is thrilled to have a brother and Abby is adjusting well. (mighty. joy.)
Year 6. We added to our family again. This year we had a baby girl. She has black curls and shocking green eyes. I again had this baby in an unusual place, even more unusual than the first. This baby was born on the bleachers at the local high school. I was watching my nephew’s baseball game and the ambulance didn’t get there in time and I couldn’t move. So SOPHIA KABRY was beat her big bro Emery in the weird birth place category. By the way her birthday is June 22nd. (wisdom. unknown.)
Year 7. Since Lane came into our lives we decided to adopt again. This time we adopted a daughter from Brazil. ADRIANA ISABEL is 7 and has brown straight hair and brown eyes. (from Hadria. my God is an oath, my God is abundance.)
Year 8. Jonah quit his job and is now working in advertisement. It has been a big adjustment but he is happy.
Year 9. For his new job Jonah took a business trip to New Zealand. We all took a week off to go with him. It was amazing and the children loved it.
Year 10. With the money coming in from Jonah’s new job we were able to buy a new big home. And expand our family. We adopted another son, this time from England. He has straight blonde hair and blue eyes. People don’t even think he is adopted because he looks so much like Jonah. ANTHONY JAMES is 6 years old and fits in great. (unknown. supplanter.)
Year 11. This year I was in a car crash. Luckily I was okay but Jonah and the kids were very worried. They all made me get well cards which were very sweet.
Year 12. This year we expanded our family again, by 3. We had triplet girls on Christmas day. GAIA VIOLET (earth. purple flower.) has brown curls and blue eyes. GRACE JOANNE (grace, virtue. Yahweh is gracious.) has brown curls also but she has brown eyes. ALEXANDREA RUTH (defending man. friend.) has beautiful blonde curls and big brown eyes.
Year 13. We found out that Adriana’s mother had had another child and also given this one up for adoption. We wanted Adriana to be with her brother so we adopted him too. He looks just like Adriana. When we AUSTIN JACOB he was only 3 months old. Adriana and all the other children are thrilled. (great. supplanter.)
Year 14. This year my long term goal was accomplished. I got a book published. I only wrote for fun but I wrote an inspirational book about adoption and thought it needed to be shared. Apparently a publishing company got their hands on it and thought so too. I am so excited!
Year 15. The kids wanted a pet. We thought it would be a cool idea to get a parrot so we did. Her name is Faye and the kids love her. (fairy.)
