I love Seth. I wish I could use it but it's out of the question for me. I just find it so simple and so handsome. It's such a different name too, it has a great sound to it. =)
Love it! I went to school with a guy named Seth and it had been the first time I had ever heard of the name and have loved the name ever since.
Love it, always have. DH also loves it and we were going to use as the mn for our DS, but ended up choosing a different name instead. DH's younger brother also loves it apparently and they are due with a child two weeks before us, so if they have a boy, he could get Seth somewhere in his name.
I like Seth. It was on my short list of baby boy names.
I love the name Seth! I would love to use it one day, but I doubt I'll be able to because it's probably 10th on my list. It just sounds nice, plus I really liked Seth (Adam Brody) in The OC and one of my favorite baseball player's is Seth Smith (real name: Gary Seth.. ew)
I love Seth. There was a character in my favorite video game when I was a kid named Seth, and I always really empathized with him so I really liked him. And as a result, I've always had a soft spot for the name. I don't know that I would use it, though, because it's kind of common. Maybe as a middle name.
I like it well enough. It's strong, Biblical, and masculine. It's got that nineteenth-century Old Testament charm.
I knew a guy named Seth Alexander, and he went by his middle name and was called Alex. He hated his first name Seth so much that he kept it a secret from all but his closest friends. He wouldn't even tell me directly what it was, but instead gave me clues such as "It was the name of Adam and Eve's third son". It was like he couldn't bring himself to utter the name.
Oh, well, this guy was such a jerk anyway (racist, fundamentally religious, homophobic, know-it-all) that his negative opinion would actually be to me an endorsement.
