The twins are identical with intense dark eyes and watchful, calm temperaments. There is has never been a real presence of magic in the kingdom, and there is none now, but the king has been dreaming dreams about his son, Owen, who is still estranged/lost. In his dreams Owen is a once step up from a pirate's apprentice sailing on foreign shores. Though he is glad to see (if the dreams can be trusted) that his son is alive and well, these dreams only serve to strengthen the king's resolve to disinherit Owen and transfer everything to Riordan. Next week will mark Rio's official engagement to Princess Farai of the Immiri Isles. She is rumored to have thrown a temper tantrum and locked herself into her rooms when she heard the official rooms. And she hasn't been out since.
