Zaida sounds womanly but not like a girly girl. I think I might like it better if it were spelled Zada.

Oops, forgot to give my impressions. It makes me think of a person who is very much an individual, and has artistic and/or adventurous inclinations. I can imagine she would be someone with a lot of inner strength; not easily forgotten by those she meets.

That's one I've never considered before. I think I like it though. The sound of it anyway. Looks-wise it reminds me of Zelda.
As for impressions, I really don't know. Never met or heard of a single Zaida.

I like it, though I don't love it. It's not something I'd ever use, but I don't mind seeing it on other people.
I know a Zeta. It's pronounced the same as Zaida. I know that they are probably two different names with two different etymologies and all that, but I do prefer the Zeta spelling to Zaida.
