[Facts] The Name "Seanait"
the name means "little eagle" or "eagle" simply. It dervives from the Old Irish name "segnat" meaning "eagle"it's technically supposed to be pronounced /SHAY-nit/ but i pronounce it /SHAY-not/ (it sounds better IMHO)"See not wot be in front of you, but wot be unseen."

I have heard of this name before, it's in my Irish naming book but they pronounce it shan-not instead. It's pretty and reminds me of Shannon.Image hosted by Photobucket.com
