[Opinions] Twin Girls - 'A Baby Story'
Watching 'A Baby Story', mom is having twin daughters. The names are...painfully au courant.
Storie Madison [*baaaarf*]
Hayden Lee
Mom insisted, after announcing each name, "It's a family name!" I've noticed a lot of people seem to insist on expressing that whatever trendy yuppie names they choose are family names, to somehow defend their increasingly common choice.
Like, if you just say you LIKE the name, does that mean you are lamer than someone who has a Hayden somewhere back in the far branches of their family tree?
Comments? Opinions? Anyone come from a long line of Brayden Mackenzies ;) ??

I think it's unlikely but possibly. Even if it is the absolute truth, i would never use all those trendy names on my kids, especially all at once!
For one Madison has been so over used it's like the word "yes" or "no", For two, Hayden just stinks as a girls name. It does.
Storie should totally be a MN and then it would be cool and Lee is alright too, tucked neatly in the MN slot...

Ewwww. Ewwwww. And just to make it a nice even number, ewwww! Madison and Lee I can handle... but Storie and Hayden? Ummm, no thanks. I'll pass.
I like
Story, but only spelled like this.
Man its funny how people suddenly have these names in their family trees when they're popular.

Storie Madison... wow. I want to know the 'storie' of where they got that one! I like Story (notice spelling) as a GP, but Storie in real life?
Hayden Lee is way too boring for me.
But those are possible to be family names. I wouldn't believe it the first time either, but you never know. :/

Kinda like Story as a middle name but wouldn't use a common name if it was a family name!
well, to be fair
maybe they are family names - it's not mom's fault if the whole yuppie world thinks the names that are in her family are cool and got to them first.
I can buy that Madison, Lee and Hayden are family names. Storie too. but together I will admit they do look very not-family-related-at-all.

My mom's cousin is Lee (f), after a family we're descended from. We may also have Madison as a family name, and my classmate's last name is Hayden. I can't see Storie as one though, and your right, they do look incredibly trendy. Although really, there's nothing wrong with using family names...I've considered Lee and Madison myself, among other surnames.
I went to hs with a girl whose ln was Story so I can believe that. Odd spelling of Storie, though.
Storie was my brother's birth surname.
