[Opinions] Re: May

I love seeing "filler" mns being used as a fn. And May is one of my favorites, except I only like the Mae spelling. In my line of work, the word "may" is a term of art and sets off red flags (as opposed to the word "shall.") So the Mae spelling is the only one that works for me.
I prefer May / Mae as a nn for Mary. But it could stand on its own as well.
I'm not a fan of Maybelle so May Belle does nothing for me. But I love Mabel. Mabel, nn May? How about:
May Amelia ("Our Own May Amelia" by ___ Holm)
May Celeste
May Eleanor / Elinor / Lenore
May Adele
May Patricia
May Evelyn / Evelina
May Abigail
May Caroline / Charlotte (May Charlotte come over and play? I'm sorry, I can't get that auxiliary thing out of my head.)
May Fiona
May Glynis
May Elspeth
May Cathleen
May Siobhan
May Jacinda
May Isidora
May Frances
May Carina
May Evangeline
May Lucinda
May Virginia
May Emmeline ("-leen")
May Josephine
May Estelle / Estella
May Rosaleen
