Joshua and Kate talked it over and decided on one more child. They were taking the children to visit Kate's sister Joanna in Florance when they found out thay were pregnant, so they decided on the middle name Firenze, with the ending "e" pronounced, since Kate felt quite sure this child was a boy. They agreed on the name Gabriel, a favorite of Joshua's for years. If he had been a boy, he would have been Gabrielle Florence. The entire family was thrilled to welcome little Gabe, and Joseph in particular is satisfied that the sister/brother ratio is now even. Gabe at first cried nearly all the time from painful colic, but he grew out of it and is now a bubby and happy three-month-old. Everyone loves him and all of his siblngs love to take care of him, even little Samuel! Kate and Joshua are very proud of all their children and have definately decided to call their family complete!
