I like it spelled Shea and only on a boy.
For a girl, I prefer a girl's version. Maybe Shayla? It all just seems a little 1990s though.
I'm a writer and one of my main characters is named Shealyn (link: Shaelyn), but it's a 30-year-old man and he goes by just Shea.
