I like it for a girl or a badger, but not for a boy. Which is odd, because I usually prefer male names eg Stephen to their female versions eg Stephanie. Frannie isn't anything I'd go for, but I do like Fran.

I adore it ferociously. I want it to shoot up the charts.

I don't really like it that much. It is a bit old-fashioned.

Frances is one of my favorite female names. I adore it!

I like it as a middle name.

I cannot find fault with this name. I love it!

I think it's pretty & classic. Does make me think of Frances Farmer, but that's not a bad thing.

And now it's growing on me. I still can't really decide what I think of it. It sounds old fashioned to me but the thought of it on a little girl actually seems cute :)

I've never liked Frances/ Francis, and I really dislike the nn Frannie. I do love Francesca and Francois, though.

I LOVE Frances, but prefer Francie as a nickname. I love it because of "A Tree Grows In Brooklyn"

I prefer France. I don't know why, but I've never liked Frances.

I think it is good for a male. Frannie, I love for a girl.
