[Opinions] Celebrity baby BAs
It’s a second son for actor Greg Vaughan (born James Gregory, Jr.) and Dutch model Touriya Haoud! Cavan Thomas Vaughan arrived on Tuesday, Jan. 19th. He joins big brother Jathan James.
Miss France 2002 Sylvie Tellier and husband Camille Le Maux welcomed son Oscar on January 17th.
And an ‘interesting’ celebrity baby name I just saw:
Destin Jude Pfaff and fiancée Rachel Federoff (of The Millionaire Matchmaker show) have a 5-month-old son, Sin Halo Jude.
What she said about their name choice:
“My parents hate the name Sin Halo,” Rachel admits. “But it’s the yin and the yang — everybody has a little good and bad in them.”
All I can say is poor little Sin:-(

Jathan? It sounds like someone with a lisp saying Jason (no offense to anyone who has a lisp.)
Everybody has a bit of good and bad in them, sure, but Sin Halo sounds more like a video game villain. It is such an obvious and therefore tacky way of getting the message across. A 'bad boy' name paired with something a lot more tame would have sounded better and would probably be a lot easier to live with.
The babies' names don't particularly appeal to me, but I like to see a male Camille. I wish this name wasn't so predominantly feminine.
And I love the philosophical explaination behind Sin Halo. Ok, we all have a little good and bad in us, but no need to tip the scales in favor of bad immediately...

The Spanish meaning of sin came to my mind first. Sin means without. Still not a good meaning.
