[Opinions] Quitterie.
Pronounced "kitterie" (or "keetterie") it's one of my favorites of the moment. I made a poll about it and most people disliked it. When I think about it, I guess the "quit/quitter" sound is probably not very pleasant to the anglophone ear, and maybe that was one of the reasons why it got such negative results.WDYT?It's not very common and often used in posh circles, but it's typical of southwestern France.

Darling! So cute but not too youthful. Nonsense polls.

It sounds awful in English, but it's very cute in French.

The only reason it got negative responses on the polls is because unusual names get disapproved there. Trust me, I know.I love the name now that I know the pronounciation.

I love it. How fun, how unique, how energetic it looks! It reminds me of a flirty courtier and lace parasols and little white gloves. But it has a shyness and fresh, unspoiled youth to it. It reminds me of "coquettish". And kittens. The polls are full of rubbish. This is a great name. Just look at all the great things it makes one think of.

I like the "Kitterie" sound, but most Anglos will see "Quitter". If they heard it, they'd probably think it was cute, but the look is no good in English.
