[Opinions] Names for triplet girls
So I really like the name Robyn, and have said for years that when I have a baby girl I will call her Robyn.
But now I'm expecting triplet girls!!
With one of them named Robyn I thought of calling another one Rose which is such a beautiful name.
But then that leaves one, and the other two both have names beginning with Ro-.
So I thought Roxy? Roxanne? Rowena? Roberta?
The only one of those I really like is Roxy, but it's too informal and I don't really like Roxanne. So, if two of my triplets have names beginning with Ro-, should the third aswell?
Otherwise it will be Robyn, Rose and Emma. And they'll have brothers Oliver, Matthew and Todd.
I'm going to have six kids - help me! (:

I love Robyn, Rose and Emma together. I just don't link Robyn and Rose together in my mind so it seems ok to me. Another Ro- would be too much though.I agree with someone who suggested Robyn, Emma and another name not beginning with R or E. I know a lot of twins that hate their matchy names so I couldn't imagine how three of them would feel when they're older.

Robyn, Rose and...I know most people prefer non-matchy names but as long as there not something like Ashley, Ashlyn and Ashlid I think there cute. Also it doesn't seem like you tried for a match, it just happened so your going with it. So some "Ro" names you might like...Rona**
Rochelle
Roxandra (maybe its better than Roxanne for Roxy)
Romina*
Roma
Romaine
Romey
Romilda (possably? Not my fav but maybe you like it)
RondaOr you could just pick an R name, like Ria\Rhea.
Out of your choices I like Rowena the best, its such a pretty name! What ever you do, Good Luck!

I don't think triplet or twin names should have the same "first letters"
I like basing it on meanings instead.
I suggest Robyn, Roza, and Zahra. Robyn is English for "bright fame, Roza is Ancient Germanic for "fame", and Zahra is Arabic for "brilliant, bright".My two favorite Ro- names are Roxana and Rosaleen (I personally like it better than Rose).

Robyn, Rose, and Rowena.Otherwise I'd do Roberta or Roxanne.
Rowena is probably my favorite name from the list. It's classic, and reminds me of Harry Potter and Ivanhoe (although I've never read that). Rose and Roxanne "Roxy" are my other favorites. Robyn is youthful and Roberta is old but still pretty.
What about Roberta nn Robyn?

I would not go with matching names. I find that when parents match twins/triplets/quadruplets names, the quality of the other name(s) is being sacrificed to enhance the quality of the favorite name (in your case, Robyn). If I were you, I'd keep Robyn and Emma, and then think of a third name that doesn't begin with a R or an E. I'd also try to find a name that ends in an "ie" sound (or basically any other sound than "en" or "a") in order to vary the endings. Also, I think Roberta will forever be linked with the name Robert, and it also just doesn't have a nice sound to it.
Here are some suggestions that would go with Robyn and Emma:
Lizbeth
Violet
Willow
Shiloh
Lilith (nickname Lily)
Jamie
Lacey
Cyan
Mary-Kate
Lee
Chrisanne
But if you're set on the triple R's, I'd go with Robyn, Rose(mary), and Rowanne. I really don't think I'd like to have a matching name though if I were a triplet. I'd feel a bit cheated if I knew the quality of my name was sacrificied only to go with one of my triplet's names. Matching could be cute for twins, but for triplets, it just seems a bit annoying. Best of luck with your choices! :)

I would either keep the R initial (I don't think the second letter, o, matters as much) consistent with all three, or have none of them begin with the same letter. I definitely would not name two of them with one letter, and the third with a new letter, because that would make the child feel left out.Robyn
Rose
RachelRobyn
Rose
RuthRobyn
Emma
LucyRobyn
Emma
ClaireRobyn
Emma
Charlotteetc. If I had my own triplet girls, I'd probably go with:Alice
Charlotte
Margaret

same hereThat's a very pretty trio and it doesn't scream "OMG WE ARE TRIPLETS!".

Me tooRobyn and Rose both begin with Ro-, but it's not the same vowel sound so they're not so terribly matchy. If I met triplet girls with names all beginning with Ro-, I'd have to facepalm myself. Go with Emma! It makes it much nicer. Or maybe you could think of something instead of Rose, since you seem to have just suddenly thought of it and thought it sounded nice. Maybe you should find something you've liked for a longer time.
