The only Fran name I've ever liked is Francesca. Francesca is okay I guess, but Frankziska is too over the top, too difficult to spell, and looks ugly in writing.

I adore Franziska / Francisca. I've always been a little annoyed how people gush over showy Francesca, while ignoring equally lyrical Francisca. And Franziska is Francisca's zippier alter ego. She gets a 10 from me.

I adore Francesca and even like Francisca but Franziska does nothing for me, I'm afraid (visually speaking). I'd give it a 2.

Normally I'm not big on the Francesca, so I didn't think I liked any Fran- names - but this one is fab-you-luss. So energetic, sharp, artsy and lyrical. I'd give it a 9.5!

For me, the only acceptable form of this name is Francesca, for obvious reasons :)

I think I would use it as a mn. If I were to use as a fn, I would spell Francisca.
It's a nice name though....
