Isn't Zachary from the Greek, meaning "sugar" or "sweet", as you might see in words like "saccharine"?

Actually, Miranda has a point paraetymologically speaking: the modern Greek word for sugar is "zachari", derived from the classical Greek "sakcharon". They certainly sound the same, though Zachary (the name) is in fact a Hebrew name...
