Overall, too many parents trying to be 'unique'(ie giving girls masculine names / the boys 'celeb' like names etc) , but fail to realise that they are not being unique, because nearly everyone else is trying to achieve the same thing - I blame celebrities.
Yeah, i'm not a fan of 'unique' names - I guess I prefer uncommon european ones, it's a shame only a few parents share my taste, I would love too see a Nikolina or a Nikolai on one of these US or Australia BA's (but the problem is, not even parents who are of a certain heritage use ethnic names anymore *sigh*)
