I would actually enjoy seeing a Christmas over a Christine or Christina. It's just more interesting and appeals to my name-nerdery :)
Also I think there was a Bond girl named Christmas Jones. It's a silly name for a Bond girl, but it's nifty to see in real life I think. I actually do not think it's ridicuous. If it was spelled Krystmiss, that would be ridiculous.
