I love the name Celeste and have always had an interest in it for some reason. It's not at all popular here in Australia and I don't see it getting popular anytime soon. I believe I've only ever met one Celeste, a girl who was at the before and after school care place I worked at for a while. Celeste is my fave of all the options.

I find Celeste very pretty. I do love Celestine, Celestia, and Celestina, but I like them all and therefore it doesn't matter too much which is used to me. The first thing that comes to mind is "star" or "heaven", and then I remember the Anne Rice character. Not bad connections at all! xD

I don't think it'll get any more popular. It's always been on the charts, but at a low level, which from what I've seen usually means it'll stay lower on the charts. It's been declining recently, so I think it's past its peak.

I've met one person in their 30's named Celeste. I think it's pretty, any of the variants are also pretty. As a mn, it goes with just about any fn.

Celeste, Celestia, and Celestine are all lovely names. Celestina is pretty, but a bit too frilly. I think I like Celeste and Celestine the best. I'd probably be more inclined to go with Celeste though.

Do you think it might get common?
-Probably not. This name has been around for a while, but it's been "untouched" for just as long. People have heard of it, but they aren't crazy about it (at least not the people I know).

-No, but I've heard it in public a couple of times. Both girls were teenagers.

-No, kind of, and no. Celestia sounds mystical, and is the prettiest of the bunch, but I would never use it myself.

Queen of the elephants is my first thought! - but I do like it, and I prefer it to the other versions.

I like it, though I don't love it. I don't like it enough to use, but I think it's nice.

I had a friend named Celeste when I was in high school. Her mother's name was also Celeste. It was a rare case of a girl being named after her mother, something that used to be common, but is now rare. Daughter Celeste would now be 49 years old, mother Celeste's age I don't know, but she must be at least in her seventies, if she's till alive.

I like it. I don't think it will get too common (at least not too fast), because it doesn't seem like a trendy sort of name. I don't know any. I like Ceeleste and Celestia; the others are too frilly for me. I would use it as a mn, and I would wantto see it as a fn.

I think it's very pretty, but can't see it getting overly common. It has a slight vintage air to it, but it's not "crunchy cool" enough to hook up with a fad I think.
