On September 5, 2014, Nicole and Alexander Brady welcomed fraternal twins Sara Rose Brady and Olivia Jasmine Brady. Born at 8:26 p.m. at Mercy General Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Sara weighed 5 pounds 13 ounces and was 18 inches long and Olivia weighed 5 pounds 10 ounces and was 18 1/2 inches long. They join older sisters Lily Matilda, aged 4, and Violet Michelle, aged 3.
Nicole and Alexander were thrown for a loop when they were told they were expecting twins, and according to all sonograms and ultrasounds, twin girls! Four girls in four years--Alexander and Nichole are thrilled but a little overwhelmed. They have decided to make the twins their last children--biologicaly at least. The pregnancy went fine and the girls were both healthy. Nicole and Alexander switched the naming order with the twins, honoring relatives with their first names and using flowers as their middle names. Sara is Nicole's grandmother's name, and Olivia is Alexander's. Having twins is a lot of work, especialy with two older kids, but Nicole and Alexander are managing well. Both are working from home until the twins are a year old, and with Lily starting pre-K they have a good balancing act going. Both older girls love Sara and Olivia and love to help out with them. They have not yet begun to develop much personality, but Sara is the louder and more demanding twin while Olivia is quieter.
