It's been two years and our children are now
Adina, 12

Casper, Lucius, Barak & Maayan, 6

THE ADOPTION
The first few weeks with the children were rough. For starters none of the children could speak Hebrew OR English OR Spanish (those are the only langauges I know) so we had to have my mother there to translate. For those of you who don't know her, my mother is a lovely women and she can understand a little bit of Russian and Polish, but not alot. By the end of the first month with the children we had come up with a system of cards. Food, water, sleep, hug, kiss, and play were just some of the many symbols. Soon the children began to understand us and we understood them.
THE CHILDREN NOW
Adina is still the leader of the bunch. Yonatan loves to help Adina out. Maayan & Alana are now best friends. This makes Barak jealous at times because Maayan used to exclusivly be friends with his but now she has someone else. Maayan often tries to assure him she does love him and he knows this but is still jealous. Lucius and Casper pretty much stick to one another but are slowly but surely starting to include him. Mia & Phoebe are best friends. They are identical and enjoy each others company but also love hanging out with their older siblings.
