vote up1
Don't let these two near my nieces. Real heartbreakers; very dashing.
vote up1
Corentin Ferdinand and Kilian Laurids. I think.
vote up1
Robin Emeric and Desmond Emrys...or Desmond Oliver. I'm not sure that I'd want both of their middle names to start with the same sound.
vote up1
So handsome!
vote up1
Wow, seriously amazing combos! I ♥ Desmond Emrys, it's way more awesome than Desmond Oliver!
vote up1
Everyone keeps using my favorites! Robin Emeric and Desmond Emrys are gorgeous. While I love Desmond Oliver, Desmond Emrys is rarer and edgier. Very stylish.
vote up1
Gorgeous!

In real life, Malcolm Alexander and August ClintIf I could name them all by myself:
Malcolm Linus and Alasdair Clint.
vote up1
I like all the names, but I prefer Malcolm Alexander and Alasdair August :)
vote up1
I love Alasdair August and the reverse too!Clint has to stay though as it's the most important family name.
vote up1
Joseph Hans and Franz David.Joseph Hans is a new one, so I'm eaget to try it out. I actually really like the nn Joe. It's so friendly :) Joe and Franz :)
vote up1
Right now I'm feeling strange so I'm gonna say: Spero Jude and Bowie Dexter.
vote up1
They are both very cool guys. Bowie Dexter *should* feel geeky and awkward next to punchy Spero Jude, but I don't think it is.
vote up1
Dennis Roger & Martin FrederickThe first names are both ones I keep coming back to again and again. The middles are also old favorites, but ones I don't know if I'd actually end up using IRL for first names.
vote up1
I love that someone is considering Dennis and Martin, they're such ignored classic names :)
vote up1
Thanks! OT I absolutely love your signature!
vote up1
Twin BoysDylan Ami James and Michael Owen Beckett...or here in Germany: Jakob and Aaron:)
vote up1
Sebastian Daniel and George Thomas
vote up1
Richard Cornelius and Homer Cassius
vote up1
Still some of my favorite BtN combos EVER. I can't tell you how much I love all the names separately and together!
vote up1
I'll pay you a million dollars if you name a son Homer Cassius. Not really. But it would make me smile. :-DAnd Richard Cornelius is very handsome and distinguished.

Same as if I had 2 boys.
Frederick John (already have a son Frederick)
and
Benjamin David (sadly this is apparantly a name of a relative but I love it)
vote up1
Frederick John belongs in an Edwardian piece. I'm picturing Master Ronnie in "The Winslow Boy." Like that. Very proper, but strong and intelligent too. Love it.
vote up1
Laertes Vyvyan and Demetrius Auberon
vote up1
Aw. Vyvyan, Oscar Wilde's son, right? I picture him reading his wonderful fairy tales to his own sons. Priceless.Good luck getting these past your SO. I wish you luck because these are gutsy combos. Demetrius Auberon is particularly dreamy.
vote up1
Joseph Avery + Noah Rhys
vote up1
Yay! Avery on a boy. Love it.
vote up1
August and Isidoreingen text
vote up1
Two great names that belong together. Wow. Everyone's got such terrific names lined up. If only the real BA lists were this nice.
vote up1
Karl Roch and Robert PeterKarl and Robert are my tops right now, although I have about twenty boys' names that I fairly consistently cycle through. And honestly, if I had a significant other than vetoed eighteen of them, chances are really good that I'd still like whichever two were left when they were paired with each other. I tend to be warm on a whole lot of boys' names all at once for a long time, whereas with girls names I'll cycle through maybe one favorite combo and a lone name and that'll be it. So, Karl Roch and Robert Peter. Although, like I said, mix those around and I"ll probably still like them just as well. I would only not do Roch Karl; the ch-k makes me stumble. I don't mind repetition but it has to be a sound that can easily roll from one name to the next. Peter Roch, for example, works just find for me.
vote up1
I've never heard of Roch before. Where does it come from? How is the "ch" pronounced? Like an airy "kh" in Scottish Lachlan, or exactly like it looks in English, a "ch" as in church? Is the "o" in Roch long ("oh") or short ("ah")? It reminds me of Roque, which I love. Not knowing how it's pronounced, it's a little difficult for me to say how I feel about Karl Roch. But Robert Peter really makes me smile. Both names are underappreciated, probably due to overuse in teh past. But they are both ready for a comeback, big time. Hmmm. Karl, Karsten, Casper Maximilian, Oscar, Oswald, Frederick, Ludwig. Am I detecting a Germanic / Anglo-Saxon trend for boys in the works? I hope so. Very handsome.

Mark Alexander & Ariel Sebastián "Ari"Mark: I love the name plus it honours my paternal grandpa
Alexander: " my maternal grandmaAriel: I LOOOOVE the nn Ari
Sebastián: I just love the name plus I think it goes well with Alexander
vote up1
Mark as a fn! Yay. An underrated name if ever there was one. Mark Alexander is a handsome combination.I would prefer Ari Sebastian to Ariel Sebastian. And you're right, Sebastian and Alexander both balance each other out nicely in the mn spots.
vote up1
Leonard Jacob & Thomas FrancisGrandparents and my two favorite religious figures.
vote up1
Aw. Thomas is my father and Francis is a personal favorite. I love them together. Leonard Jacob is very handsome. We need more Leonard in the next generation.
vote up1
William Eamon and Rapheal MarkorCasey Fulton and Ethan Ambrose
vote up1
I love Eamon (prefer Eamonn), Raphael, Mark and Ambrose. Raphael Mark is making me think of Venice for some reason. Saint Mark's square, but what's the Raphael connection? The painter? Yes, That's it. Very spicy and Renaissance-y. :-D

Nice combos. I love Ludwig!

why not!?Frederick and Alfred is fiiine! Fred and Alfie? come on! But Frederick Ludwig and Leonard Stephen are way nifty too. Aw, Lenny and Fred.My taste has changed a lot too. I wish I could remember what sort of stuff I was into. I think really fancy stuff like... Belphoebe and... I don't know.
vote up1
Im always changing my mind. Javan Elijah and Jasper Elliot
vote up1
I love Jasper.
vote up1
awJasper Elliot is so great! So sweet. I just want to ruffle his hair.
vote up1
To me, boys are so much harder to name than girls. Don't know why. I really like these:Caspar Maximilian & Tobias BalthasarETA: I do seem to like the names of the Three Wise Men ;)

This message was edited 11/17/2009, 10:37 AM

vote up1
Those will do.Holy Roman Emperors, Batman. Great combos. :-) Caspar Maximilian and particularly dashing. Come to think of it, Casper (as a fn) and Balthasar (as a mn) in the same sibling set is devilishly clever.
vote up1
Thanks :)
vote up1
Felix Jude & Edwin Silas:)
vote up1
Felix Jude is the most perfect Felix combo in the entire world. I tried pairing Felix with middle names, and everything felt wrong except Jude!
vote up1
Well, I do not mind if you want to add it to your list :)I'm not all about the registering of name combos. Use it if you want!
vote up1
Um. I thought I told you it was Edwin Thaddeus. Some people never learn . . . . :-DFelix Jude and Edwin Silas cut a dashing pair.
vote up1
Yum... Felix and Edwin :)
vote up1
Hmmm ... my boy names just don't change that much:Adam Gabriel -- not totally loving this one
Leo Thomas

vote up1
I love Leo and Gabriel.
vote up1
Leo Thomas is great!!
vote up1
I agree with Adam Gabriel but I love Leo Thomas.
vote up1
As of today ... ;)Noah Solomon and Abel Karsten
vote up1
Everyone that has answered so far has to go out and reproduce. These combos are too good to waste.I didn't think there was anyone else who liked Abel but me. Abel Karsten is terrific.
vote up1
Maybe Louis Isaac and Paul Marius. But these are more names that I like put together than real combos.
vote up1
I really like Paul Marius though Paul's nms. It sounds really nice together.
vote up1
Paul Marius reminds me of a young Paul Newman in "The Silver Chalice." So handsome.
vote up1
Very sleek and classic. Love those.
vote up1
Henrik and Casper are my latest faves... hmm, Henrik and Casper Fredrick? I need to work on Henrik.
vote up1
I really love both! Casper used to also be my No. 1 favorite a while ago, and my combo was Caspar Ludwig, Casper Louis or Casper Nicholas. Henrik Jude is very nice!
vote up1
I love Henrik :) It's on my PNL. Henrik and Casper are nice together. Casper Frederick is very handsome, too.
vote up1
Oliver Kjell Vilhelm AlexanderandFelix William Noah Theodor(Kjell, Vilhelm and Theodore are honoring names)
vote up1
I like:Oliver
Alexander
Noah
vote up1
Oh, I *love* Oliver and Felix and twins :)
vote up1
ohh, very nice. Each name takes me on a little journey. Oliver and Felix are very good together.
vote up1
Agreed. "Each name takes me on a little journey." I don't know if I've ever read a better expression of how combinations like these make me feel.
vote up1
I'm gonna agree, too
vote up1
Dorian Oscar and Oswald Theodore. Not sure about the combo Dorian Oscar. I did not think of the strong connection with Oscar Wilde at the time I came up with it.
vote up1
I love Oswald Theodore, but Dorian Oscar is just so perfect!
vote up1
Oswald! Are you really considering using it? I would smile for a week if you did. :-D Theodore makes a great mn with it. Dorian Oscar is nifty. The Wilde association is subtle, but meaningful. Great flow.
vote up1
I am not sure you could call that Wilde association subtle, but it is lovely. :)
vote up1
but that is awesomethe strong Wilde connection I mean! very very cool. Oswald Theodore is also kickin'. very dark and yet also fuzzy. Darkly fuzzy.
vote up1
I guess I'd go with Charles Philip and James Francis (too much s?) by default. I'm never totally satisfied with my boy names, though.
vote up1
I really like James Francis too. What a stand-up name!
vote up1
No, James Francis is absolutely wonderful, and it is not too much s, not that I would remind two names ending with an S sound that badly, but the James sound is more of a z anyway.
vote up1
That's goodI worry about little things like that sometimes. But I just like the way those two names look together. And our last name doesn't have any S in it, so that helps too.
