[Facts] Re: ORIGIN
It's true you should not post in all caps. The great majority of modern Americans named Brevin have as its origin a blend as you describe. That was how the basketball player Brevin Knight received this name. His name blends the names of his parents, Brenda and Melvin. However, there is another possible origin. Brevin is also the French form of Bregwin. Bregwin was the Saxon name of an archbishop of Canterbury in England who died in 764, and there are places in Brittany, France called St.-Brevin-les-Pins and St.-Brevin-l'Ocean named after him. If you wish you can suggest Brevin to the owner of this site as a future addition. It's up to him to decide what names he wants to include.
