Umm...Nowhere in its definition does it say that Kyriaki means Sunday. NOWHERE. It means "of the Lord" (see Cyriacus). You are probably getting it confused with another name.

About Kyriaki...It DOES mean Sunday... I'm half-Greek. I live in Greece. Kyriaki is the Greek word for Sunday. Cyriacus or Kyriakos is the masculine form of Kyriaki. Kyriaki is "the day of the Lord" but it means Sunday...

Yep, thats what I was refering to :)Kyriaki is the Greek word for Sunday where I live, but its also a rather... common name. Still, it is Sunday, and to me it sounds awkward.
Thats why I said I wouldn't want to name my child Kyriaki :)
(plus, regardless of its meaning and what not, I don't really like it as a name in itself)
:D
Hope that clarified :)!
PS: Oh, another Greek on the boards! I didn't know!
So where about do you live? (Y'never know, we could be neighbors :P)

I'm from the United States. I figured most people here were from English-speaking countries, like the US, the UK, Australia, etc. No offense to people who aren't.

I really really dislike it as a name too...
I live in Athens!
