It's been a GP of mine for years. There's something wonderfully peaceful yet fierce about it.
I don't have any combos with it as a first name, but I do have the combo Mackenzie Columba, even though I don't find it to be mind blowingly great. I don't think an ordinary sort of name could take being next to Columba. It needs to be with stuff that is equally fantastic. Like...

(I went through my list of Medieval names for them.) :)
(As an aside, I can't see Columba being very practical to use on a person in real life.)
