[Opinions] Re: Wendy
I have known only two people named Wendy (one early 20's, the other middle aged), and yet there must be some air of datedness about it, because it does seem like a rather threadbare name to me. I love the literary tie, but now people think more about Hamburgers than Peter Pan when they hear this name I fear.I think the Wendys I knew did have it as a full name, so I rather like the idea of it being a nickname for something else. If you like the energy of Wendy but your husband hates it (that's always a bummer to deal with), what about:Maisie
Daisy
Shelby
Trilby
Cecily
Avery
Lucy
Gelsey???

I know he'd like Lucy, because that's his mother's name. I'll bounce it off him some time. :)
