I don't like either, personally, but if HAD to choose it'd have to be Agatha.
Agnes was such a common name when i lived in Scotland, also mums called Agnes naming their babies Senga (reverse of Agnes) which i thought was even worse!

Wow, I've never heard of Agnes being spelled backwards! That's very interesting...
