Which do you prefer?

Definitely Chloe. Charley is fine for a boy, but I find it too boyish for a girl as a full name. I think it's okay as a nickname for Charlotte. I prefer the spelling Charlie though. It looks more feminine.

well...Charley nn for Charlotte or just Charley?Either way is fine. This site is one that's obsessed with names, and you're going to hear a lot of opinions! This could be really good or really bad. Don't let it effect your too much.Chloe rocks. It's also the name of many people on TV now I've noticed... Some people aren't used to it, but it's a great name.

Chloe...But I like it spelt Cloe. Charlie is a great boys' name but I don't like it or variant spellings that much for a girl.

Chloe, no doubt. Charley doesn't belong on a girl, at least as a full name.

Charley! Much more refreshing to see.

Charley wins by a mile, though I tend to like it better as a nickname for Charlotte. Chloe is cutesy in the extreme. Plus I honestly don't think it ages well at all. Charley on the other hand ages well and is completely unisex. Not too masculine, not too feminine.

Chloe, even though I dislike it. But at least it's not a nickname. Plus I dislike Charley as a nickname for a girl anyway.

Chloe, Charley is too masculine

do you think Chloe is unsuitable for a tall girl?
because people have expressed that opinion and im a bit worried about it

lol, what??I would love to meet a person who says to me "You are far too tall to be a Chloe". Because that is ridiculous. I have never in my life heard of classifying names by height!!

hmm, no...Ok, names might convey certain images, but implying somehow that all the Chloe's in the world are bound to be short is just ridiculous.I'm remembering now I had an university classmate named Chloe who was quite tall.

YES lolMaybe old people aren't used to the name yet, that could be it!Yes, beautiful tall people too!

Um... no. Not at all, actually. To me, it doesn't seem like anyone of a specific height. It would work fine on a tall person. Character or real person?
