[Opinions] Some Turkish (and Arabian) girls names, WDYT?

I really like these:
Adalet - so delicate, it reminds me of eyelet-lace - a pure girlishness.
Cemile
Cennet - this is VERY striking
Esra
Lale - very cheery and upbeat

Overall, everyone's favourites here are quite identical with my own :-)
I like Adalet, too. To me, it looks like a "defrilled" (is that a word? Uhm, "a less frilly" I mean) version of Adelaide. And the meaning "justice" is not bad, either.
I really like Cennet, too. I am not sure if I could use it on a real child but I like that it looks pretty strong and masculine and has the rather soft and feminine meaning of "paradise".
Esra is one of my top favourites. I adore this one.
Lale is another favourite of mine. I agree with you, it has quite a cheery feel to it. The meaning "tulip" fits, huh? :-)
Another plus for Lale is that it's also used as a short form of Eulalia in my country. And I adore Eulalia (but probably wouldn't use it... the child would probably get teased to no end :-( So Lale could be an alternative)

Esra, Zehra, Sena, Sibel, Selin, Rabia, Meral, Ilayda, Cennet, Esma, Adalet, and Asena are the ones I like.

I'm not too sure if I would use Cennet on a real child but I do like it :-)

I like Sibel, too. It sounds similar to my own middle name and my aunt's name, yet different enough to actually be an option.
I also like the meanings I read somewhere "flowing" and "raindrop between sky and earth". If anyone could confirm these I'd be a happy camper.

i like:
Esma - is it ESS mah or EZ ma?
Esra - pretty!
Ilayda - i'm guessing it's ill aye dah? it's really nice!
Lale (Lah-luh) - i like the sound of this
Meryem
Zeliha
Zehra - nice alternative to Zara or Zahara!
If you're living in an english speaking country, the spelling & pronunciation will get confused unfortunately. They are nice names though!

That's a good question about Esma. I always pronounced it ESS-mah, the possibility of the pronunciation EZ-ma never even occured to me. I'll do some research on that issue! Thanks for bringing it up!
I like Esma, too. I've been warming up to Esmée lately... but I'm a little afraid that it will become uber-popular due to the Twilight series. (Ha! I never read one of these books and even I know that Esme is one of the characters...)
Esra is one of my favourites, too. As well as Lale.
Thanks for your input.
