I really think the spelling should be Bronwen. From my understanding, -en is feminine in Welsh, and -yn is masculine.
Plus, the spelling Bronwen is far prettier.

Also agree. If you're honoring someone, fair enough, but if you want a Welsh name, spell it Bronwen. (I'm from Wales.)
