[Opinions] Celina/Selena?
Which spelling and what do you think of the name?
I never hear it. All the names on my list are popular (not on purpose of couse) and Celina feels fresher to me. Wdyt?
I love both spelling btw, but think Celina goes best with our last name and with our kids names.

I prefer the Celina spelling. This spelling seems more exotic to me, plus this was my husband's great grandmother's name. I don't like Celina enough to use as a first name, but I am considering either Celina or Celine for this baby's middle name if it's a girl and the first name we pick flows with either name.
I think I prefer Selena. It's an all right name to me. It's not really my style.
Well, Celina was really popular here in Germany from about 1995 till 2000 so it does feel a bit dated. It only had a short phase in which it was really common and then disappeared.
I like Selena better. I think it was in the top 100 in the US for exactly one year and then left so it shouldn't be too common.
I prefer Selena over Celina but Céline over Selene.

Of the two you mentioned I have no preferance but I prefer the form Selina to both of them.
They're both quite nice. The spelling I'm most familiar with is Selina, but they all look fine to me.
