[Opinions] Re: Lenora?
I love Lenore, Elenore, and Elenor; they're three of my all-time favourites. Lenora feels a bit too "trying too hard" to me, I'm afraid; the A on the end takes it from dark-sounding and mysterious to hipster chic. I feel the same way about Clarisse to Clarissa and so on--the A-ending names are just too popular a style for my tastes right now. However, if that doesn't bother you, I think Lenora is fine as a name. Nora on its own is also fine--it's a "full" first name in itself. Whichever you prefer, she'll have a strong name that will hold up through adulthood.Lenora Emmeline isn't too much if you like it, but I'm a big proponent of long names and thus biased. :)And, I have to say, I think that Norma's a nice name, too. On the right kid, it could be downright awesome.Array
