[Opinions] Celeb Baby
I haven't seen this here yet:A big congrats to Grey's Anatomy's Ellen Pompeo and her husband, Chris Ivery, as they have just welcomed their first child into their family. The baby is a girl and named: Stella Luna Pompeo Ivery.WDYT?Reminds me of Stellaluna (of course), the kids book about a bat... I'm not sure if that was the intention or not! Stella is cute though.

Stella is a lovely name but it seems very popular with celebrities so it's kind of 'blah' hearing another celebrity baby with the name. I love Luna though.

it is alright..a lot better than some.
at least they are legitimate names and not super trendy.I quite like Stella.
Luna was the name of my pet sheep though, so it just doesn't work for me on people.

I'm not thrilled by it but it could be much, much worse.Ditto for Freddie Prinze Jr. and Sarah Michelle Gellar's new baby Charlotte Grace. Although the names are more my style than Stella Luna, and I like how it isn't theme-y like the latter, it is still underwhelming.Still! Both could be far worse!

Awww I'm so disappointed!I had big hopes for this kid's name. I have always really liked Ellen Pompeo when I have seen her interviewed and I think she is a classy woman- she has very understanded and classic fashion sense. I don't really like many celebs but I do like her a lot. I really thought she was going to pick something very feminine, classic and old-Hollywoood for her daughter. Stella fits that mould I guess. But Luna cheapens the whole combo! And both names are very trendy celeb names...I really shouldn't have high expectations!Stella Pompeo Ivery...I think I'm just going to block out the whole Luna part :-p

I like Stella (prefer Estella) and Luna but the combo is a bit much. I mean it translates to "star, moon". Stella is pretty much THE celeb name so I find it a bit unimaginative but the combo is interesting though I wouldn't use it.

I love love love it! I love the names, I love the book, a great namesake in my opinion. The Stellaluna book is a big part of why I want to use Luna myself. Very cute!

I love Stella! I wouldn't have paired it with Luna, but it sounds nice.

I like Stella and I like Luna, but I don't think they should be together. I think of the book and I haven't even read it.

OM gosh, Stella is fine, But Luna + Pompeo + Ivery!!! wow thats pretty complex!!.

waityou're saying that Stella is good, but if you give it a middle name and the surnames is complex? should people just have first names and nothing else?
