I love Yolanda though I prefer to spell it Jolanda. I like it with the nickname Jola, although I think Yola looks kind of silly. I don't tend to be a huge fan of Y's.

My mother has a sassy little Italian Aunt Jolanda (or Yolanda; I've never seen it written, to my memory). It give me a little feisty impression of the name. :-D

Sorry but I hate it. I think it sounds awful and it looks really unattractive. It's a comical name in my opinion, one you would use for a silly character. I really can't like it.

I knew a Yolanda once, and she was of Mexican parentage, so I guess that reinforces the image for me.
