I have always been partial to the old fashioned and gentle Beatrice myself! But my inner geek does enjoy Beatrix. I think in the end, I would settle on Beatrice. I love the nickname Bea, and Trixie not so much, and Beatrix would make Trixie a natural choice.

I don't like the nickname Trixie either, not even a little bit. I think this is one of my main reservations. Bear suggested Bix as a nickname for Beatrix, and I like that. :)

You've really summed up why I love Beatrice - it is gentle.
