[Opinions] Vivica
I've been thinking about Vivica (VIV-eh-kah) lately. WDYT of it, and can it be used as a full name? Feel free to suggest some combos!
ETA: I looked it up in the database and it says that Vivica is a varient of Viveka, which is the Swedish form of Wibeke, which is the feminine form of Wiebe (German), which is a part of medieval shorthand "wig" meaning war. I just thought it was interesting how a name can change so much!

A lot of names change that way. :) That's one think I like about Germanic names: they have so many variants, more so than other languages I feel. Anyway, I love the sophisticated Vivica and prefer that to Viveka, which looks like it should be prn vih-VEE-kuh.
Of course Vivica can be a full name. What on earth would it be short for?

I wasn't sure if it was used as a nn or pet name for Vivienne / Vivian, lol.

Love it, but only if it's spelled Viveca, or possibly Viveka. It has a very energetic feeling to me. Musical also.
If you're using the Vivica spelling in order to get the cute nn Vivi / Vivie, then you can still do that by using the traditional spellings.
Viveca Sophie / Sofie
Viveca Julie
Viveca Mary / Maren
Viveca Charlotte
Viveca Lucy
Viveca Alix
Viveca Laurel
Viveca Nerys
Viveca Annabel

I like Vivica and I prefer this spelling over Viveka as I pronounce them differently.

I prefer the spelling Viveka.
I love the name Vivica... I kind of prefer the spelling Viveka, actually. I love the double 'v' sound. Vi would be a great/fun nick name.
I think Vivica is a nice and sweet name that no one would have trouble pronouncing. :)
