How is this pronounced and what are your opinions? x

I saw this name a while back here. Someone else said it was pronounced, "ah-o-EE-dee" so that's how it's stuck in my head.
It's a bit of a mouthful. But I love the nn Edie and it would be a cute way to get to it. It's the tail wagging the dog for me, but I still think it's as legitimate way to approach naming as any other. I've already sold myslef on Aida, nn Edie, so Aoide, nn Edie isn't that much more of a stretch.

It has a nice meaning, but as even the wiki can't decide how to pronounce it, I think it would be far too confusing to actually use.
