[Opinions] Alessa
Alessa has grown on me but I wonder if it's too close to Alexa and Alyssa. When you pronounce it do you strongly hear the difference or would you often mistake an Alessa for an Alyssa?Do you pr. it ah-LESS-ah or al-LESS-ah?Do you know anyone named Alessa? Does it seem trendy to you?Oh and what do you think of Alessia and how do you pronounce it?

I love it and think it's prettier than any of the other Alex- names! I have Alessa Maddalena as a combo. I don't quite pronounce it like either of your two choices, it's more like uh-LESS-ah and uh-lace-ah. I don't think it's trendy at all, it's classy and feminine. I don't think Alessia is quite as pretty.

I pronounce it ah-LESS-ah.No, I don't know anyone who goes by this name. It DOES seem trendy to me, though; the sound is reminiscent of the -issa/-yssa/-essa trend that was popular when I was growing up. I don't like the way the "less" sound seems to thud in the middle of the name.I like Alessia a bit more, but not by much. I pro. it ah-LESS-sia.

I know an Alessa, but she goes by Al. A know several named Alexis, Alexa and Alyssa. Of them all, I prefer Alyssa, but I don't really like any of them.I prn. it ah-less-ah.

I pronounce it more like (ah-LACE-sah) and it definitely sounds different from Alexa & Alyssa to me. I prefer Alessa to both, and I think its very pretty.

I love both Alessa (ah-LESS-ah) and Alessia (ah-LESS-ee-ah), along with Alessandra.I do think Alessa would get confused with Alexa and Alyssa, though.
