[Opinions] Lucinda
This is another one I am currently liking, especially Lucinda Frances. I adore Lucy, but it doesn't sound good with my last name, which ends with letter i. Lucinda does sound good though.

I love Lucinda, and I definitely prefer it to Lucille, or Lucy on its own. Lucinda Frances is a good combo.
I prefer Lucia (loo SEE uh, or, loo CHEE uh) with the nn Lucy. I dont like Francis.

I like Lucinda for someone else's kid. Its a bit too sickly sweet for my own taste but I can definitely see the appeal. I like Lucy a lot as well. Lucinda Frances is stunning. Such a bright and sunny combo!
Williams
I've always liked Lucinda, in good measure because of Lucinda Williams. Though she's probably not your kind of music. In truth she's not mine either, but I like some of her stuff quite a bit.

In any case, Lucinda Frances is lovely. And I agree with JustJonquil about Lucinda and Miranda making a nice sibset.
What about one of these:
Lucinda Berenice
Lucinda Candace
Lucinda Celeste
Lucinda Christiane
Lucinda Constance
Lucinda Dolores
Lucinda Dulcinea
Lucinda Elise
Lucinda Giselle
Lucinda Isolde
Lucinda Josephine
Lucinda Kerensa
Lucinda Roxane (I like this a lot)
Lucinda Theresa
Lucinda Thomasina

I'm listening to Little Honey right now because of this Lucinda post. Yay! Excellent summer-vacationing house-cleaning laundry-folding beer-drinking music.
I'd worry that a baby called Lucinda might grow up to be not as fierce as Lucinda Williams. :/
eta: On second thought, no I don't worry about that.

I can definitely appreciate using a name because of a beloved musician.
The same goes with me and the name Sylvia, for my favorite soprano, Sylvia McNair.

It's not my fave, but definitely likable... I do like it better than Lucy and also better than some of the current trendy names. Thumbs up on that one.
I'm having a mini-affair with this name at the moment. In Oz it's riding quite high in the name charts.
Lucinda and Miranda strike me as two of a kind, suitable for siblings.
Lucinda Katherine is pretty imo

Oz?
Australia
Yep! The Lizard of Oz was what the Brit Press labelled an Aussie Prime Minister who had the temerity to put his hand on the Queen's back ... Michelle Obama did the same recently, and everyone loved it!
I see. Yes, I have heard that term Oz before, but failed to make the connection this time. :)
I do think Lucinda and Miranda would make a nice sibset, but even better still would be Lucinda and Matilda, or Lucinda and Jocasta (my two new favorites).
