[Opinions] Re: Ruth

This was my mom's name. She didn't like it, and always complained that it rhymed with tooth.
I love it. Not only does it have wonderful personal associations for me, but it does legitimately fit into your understated theme.
It may well be the dawning of a Ruth era. It was extremely popular around the time my mom was born, which was 1910, believe it or not. It was so popular, in fact, that there were 4 other Ruths in my mom's small college, so she went by her last name.
Anyway, given that it has reached the 100-year or so turnaround time, I believe it is ready for revival. There have to be a lot of people out there with a Ruth in their family history, or even in their memories of a grandmother or great-grandmother. Hence, ripe for revival.
