I like Joseph, but I'm not keen on Joe. There's nothing wrong with it, but I consider it very plain and boring. Joey sounds like an annoying little kid, so I don't like that either.
I also like Elisabeth/Elizabeth, but I don't care for any of its nicknames except for Lisa. I like Lisa, but Lizzie/Libby/Eliza/Elle/Ellie? BLECH.
