Starla's not that tacky. I would use Starling, personally, but Starla isn't bad; I'd think it was cute if I heard it on someone.

I prefer Tallulah, on the second issue. They are different names, of course, but I think Talulla doesn't look as complete to me.

Starla is a bit tacky, though Star-names are a bit of a GP for me. Plus I associate it with the poster here whose real name it is, so it seems less tacky.

I think they're both ok. I quite like Starla nn Star and can def see it on a real person.

Where I come from, Starla IS tacky, and dated. I've never been a fan of Talulla; I always thought it sounded dippy.
