I know it's terribly common, but what do you think of Isabella?
It's pretty but sounds over-the-top. I'm very surprised it became popular. I recently met a little demon child named Isabella - terribly unruly, horrific screech...tried to steal my daughter's cup at play group, while her mom sits by clueless...needless to say that sort of turned me off the name a little bit.
Which is your favorite nickname for it? Izzy, Bella, Isa or Belle? Isa
How many Isabellas do you know? Is it getting common where you live? Do you know any older Isabellas or only young children? Any who spelled it Isabela?
You know, despite its popularity, I can only think of one, the little demon I mentioned before. She's 2.
Do you think its too common to be used? How about using it as a middle name?
If I wanted to use it, I would use it as a middle name at this point due to extreme popularity.
What do you think of my combo Noah Isabella Aimée (em-MAY)? Do you think it flows well? Do the names go together?
I don't like Noah on a girl so that kind of ruins the combo for me, more than Isabella, although I do like Aimee...but the only name I like in that combo is dead last!!!
Do you prefer Isabel to Isabella? How would you spell Isabel?
I much prefer Isabel, and like Isobel the best.

I much prefer Isadora as well, and I do pronounce them the same, but still prefer Isadora.

No - I feel the "ella" ending makes Isabella the frilliest of the 3, and while I love feminine names, once they get too frilly I get turned off.
