[Opinions] Re: Isabella

I know it's terribly common, but what do you think of Isabella?
I think Isabella is a fairly nice name, but it is a bit too popular right now.
Which is your favorite nickname for it? Izzy, Bella, Isa or Belle?
Not terribly fond of any of the nicknames, but if I really had to choose I'd go with Belle.
How many Isabellas do you know? Is it getting common where you live? Do you know any older Isabellas or only young children? Any who spelled it Isabela?
I don't know any Isabellas, but my sister who runs a preschool has several pupils with the name, and I have a few Victorian Isabellas in my family tree (and Isabelles)
Do you think its too common to be used? How about using it as a middle name?
I think it would make a perfectly good middle name.
What do you think of my combo Noah Isabella Aimée (em-MAY)? Do you think it flows well? Do the names go together?
Noah is a boy's name. Noa Isabella sounds okay, not sure Aimée works with those names.
Do you prefer Isabel to Isabella? How would you spell Isabel?
I used to like Isabel a lot until it became so very popular. I know several Isabelles, two Isobels and an Ysabel (who is Spanish) - but would probably go for Isabel if I were to use it.
Do you prefer Isadora to Isabella? Do you pronounce Isidora and Isadora the same? Which one do you prefer?
Isadora reminds me of Isadora Duncan who was decapitated when her scarf got caught in her car, which is somewhat off-putting. Isidora is possibly better, and yes I do pronounce them differently.
If you prefer Isabel or Isadora, is it only because you think Isabella is too common or do you really prefer the sound?
I like shorter names in general, so I prefer Isabel. And I like Bel better then Belle or Bella.
