Greg & Anna met 16 years ago at a book signing. Their favorite author was signing books and they just happened to be there at the same time. They started talking and then the same day went out to dinner (still talking about their favorite author's style of writing and what they liked and didn't like about it) :) One day out of the blue Greg proposed and Anna said yes (Of Course!!!) :)
Greg & Anna had a grand wedding...for them. It was in a log cabin. The same one they would, soon, use for their house...forever.(or so they thought) :)
The same day they found out Anna was expecting...Greg lost his job which would someday soon resolt in moving to an apartment or something smaller. :(
Once Kate was born they knew they would have to move shortly if Greg didn't find a job, and quick! Finally after moving out of their log cabin in the woods to Greg's parents house in the city Greg found a job. They regreted moving because that house was supposed to be their forever home. It was special to them and...well, you know.
When Kate was 3 Riley was born and the little log cabin in the woods was still for sale. They decided not to chance it yet. It had only been 3 years since they lost it and they would rather not have to move out again!
When Riley was 2 their son Sean was born and their little home in the woods was sold (what they didn't know was that Anna'a parents had bought it and were planning to give it to them for their anniversary!) and they still had the small apartment in Greg's parents basement. A lot happened in the next two years. For their 9th anniversary Anna's parents gave them their house back...you can tell how excited they were, right? Well, I'll just say one thing. They were both crying when they found out it was their's again. :')
The next year the twins, Bridget & Madison were born.
They had more than they could deal with. But they had each other...their 5 kids...and their forever house. :)
Three years later their new baby boy Tom was born and they now had 6 kids, one child more then they could support. It looked like Anna was going to have to work but homeschooling the kids...that wouldn't work. They began to pray hard and they learned to trust God with their life. They couldn't bear to loose their forever house again.
Soon Anna got a job as a teacher! She taught other kids as well as her own...right in her own home! :) They were other kids left in homes that needed more money and couldn't possibly work with that many kids around. Just like their own house. She loved the job and she earned some extra money for their family. They also opened a place called the craft sPot. It was a place where people could come to learn house to do unusual crafts that were easy but looked complicated. They started farming and they saved money by growing their own food. Three years later their new baby girl Olivia was born and they really were in a jam then. with 7 kids to support, a farm to keep up, Greg's job failing, Anna couldn't teach because of having the baby, and their Craft sPot failed too. They grow closer as a family each day and grow in love. :)
I know not short but I thought it was sweet. :)
